BioArt Village, formerly known as the German officers’ mess from World War II, comprises five bunkers disguised as farmhouses. In the Eindhoven region, these bunkers are better known as the “German houses,” located opposite the Philips fruit garden. It’s the place where the foundation BioArt Laboratories has been conducting its activities at the intersection of art and science since 2015. The foundation acquired the bunkers in 2022, and in the same year, the location became an official municipal monument. To continue its activities in the future, significant renovation of the buildings is needed. The foundation is, therefore, urgently looking for handy volunteers who enjoy contributing to the renovation of this beautiful location.
