Rooting in the Symbiocene: Are you ready to get your hands dirty, learn about permaculture, and help shape a unique green space? Throughout the upcoming months (june/august), we are hosting a series of multi-day food forest volunteering workshops that combine planting a food forest with concepts from the Symbiocene and we would love for you to join us!

Together, we will be working on two main projects:

– Preparing the Soil and Layout: Helping with the essential preparatory work to get our brand new 1-hectare food forest ready for planting.

– Planting and Earthworks: Learning the principles of food forestry while putting the first trees, shrubs, and supportive plants into the ground.

What to Expect

Whether you are a seasoned gardener or have never held a shovel, you are incredibly welcome. During the months of June and August, we will guide groups of up to 15 people.

It is a wonderful mix of learning a rewarding ecological design system, working in the open air, and contributing to a beautiful, sustainable environment.
