Leven en laten leven – Museum Jan Cunen

LIVE AND LET LIVE - How Bio Art Colors the Future.

The coming years are crucial. We need to use them to revise our society and the definition of growth. Current systems and methods are no longer sufficient. It is high time for a transformation to the Symbiocene: an era in which humans, nature, and technology together create a new balance. Futurists have each given shape to this in their own way.

How? This can be seen from January 29th to June 25th at the exhibition Live and Let Live - How BioArt Colors the Future.

“Live and Let Live – How Bio Art Colours the Future” presents groundbreaking and contemporary work similar to the influence Saal van Zwanenberg once exerted on the industrial history of Oss. The resulting autonomy drives the crucial role artists play in exploring the future. In the current Anthropocene, in which humans put themselves at the center, we are now taking – with caution – the first steps towards a new era: the symbiocene.

BioArt Laboratories presents three talented artists at the Museum Jan Cunen in Oss as part of the exhibition ‘Live and Let Live – How Bio Art Colours the Future.’ From 29 January to 25 June 2023, explore the works of Berkveldt (Juriaan van Berkel and NoĆ«lle Ingeveldt), Lauren Raaijmakers, and Maciej Glowacki, delving into ideas and possibilities shaping a harmonious coexistence with nature and other organisms on Earth.
